The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Incorporated—Columbia (SC) Chapter (NCBW CSC) also referred to below as “NCBW CSC”, “we,” “us” and “our”) is a privacy-conscious organization. This privacy statement explains how we protect visitors’ information gathered via the Web pages of the http://nc100bwcolumbiasc.org/ website. By using the NCBW CSC Website you agree to the use of such information in accordance with this privacy statement.
Information Collection
As a visitor, you do not have to submit any personal information in order to use the website. The NCBW CSC Website collects personal information only if it is specifically and voluntarily provided by visitors. Such information may consist of, but is not limited to, your name, current job title, company address, email address and telephone and fax numbers.
We do not usually seek sensitive information (e.g., data relating to race or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, criminal record, physical or mental health or sexual orientation) from visitors. We will, where necessary, obtain your explicit consent to collect and use such information.

At times, you may choose to register or create a user profile on this site – e.g., to gain access to specific content, make recurring purchases, respond to a survey or request communications about specific areas of interest. In such cases, the information you submit may be used to manage your request; to manage our relationship with you; or to customize or improve the NCBW CSC Website.

Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
