The Columbia (SC) Chapter advocates on behalf of Black Women and Girls by promoting leadership development and gender equity in the areas of Health, Education, Economic Empowerment, and Public Policy.

Health is a vital component of a thriving community. Our primary focuses will be advocacy in the areas of Family & Childhood Obesity, Cancer/Health Disparities, and Metabolic Disease.

NCBW delivers support services that help youth achieve their educational goals. By encouraging excellence in education and promoting the pursuit of positive lifelong goals, NCBW is creating future leaders.

Our economic empowerment programs focus on financial literacy, family wealth building, and entrepreneurship. Programs include comprehensive workshops that promote economic self-sufficiency.

We advocate by reaching out to our local, state and federal legislators to address change; attending town halls, school board and county board of supervisor meetings; and partnering with organizations and legislators.

Helping Young Girls Prepare for Bright Futures
The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Columbia (SC) Chapter offers $1,000 Scholarships to graduating high school seniors and host local youth mentorship programs.
